Florence Welch has spoken out about how she notices more Florence + The Machine fans imitating her style.
The singer revealed how she is flattered to inspire so many, as well as being a little spooked by fans styling themselves like her. Speaking to Cover Media, Welch commented: "They've given themselves their own name. The Flos! I get messages saying, 'I saw you on the Tube', or in this place and I'm like, 'I wasn't there'. There are quite a few doppelgangers out there, for sure."
In addition to her trend-setting, Florence has also revealed she is pleased that her name has become popular once again after disliking it as a child. Florence continued: "Well, because Florence is an old lady's name it's good to bring it back. When I was a little girl I definitely didn't want to be called Florence. I wanted a cool American name. Like Sandy."
