Hip-hop megastar Snoop Dogg has long been an advocate for the legalisation of marijuana – and thinks that getting high with US President Barack Obama is probably the best way to get it done.
Snoop is a lover of all things green and was arrested just last Saturday for possession of weed in Texas – despite holding a medical marijuana card. After being forced to go down the popo station, Snoop wasn’t happy – and thinks it’s about time that the plant was fully legalised. So how could he convince Obama to change the prohibition laws? Over a joint, of course.
“Before I even said "Hi" to President Obama, I would change the aroma of the room,” Snoop told a US radio station. “And then we could start conversing after we had that aroma change. You know what I'm talking about?
“We get that understanding that this is what needs to happen in order to make the world go 'round. You gotta be real superficial about certain laws. They legalized alcohol, they legalized tobacco. What is it gonna hurt to legalize this medicinal, medical marijuana that's used for purposes of cataracts.”
Fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa, who was also on the show, agreed with Snoop – and told the host that he’d take Obama into the bathroom where they could try some of his potent medical buds.
