Klaxons To Start Work On Third Album

London-based indie rock band Klaxons will reportedly start work on their third album this month, the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Surfing the Void’.

The band let their fans know that they were ready to start penning new material through a post on their Twitter and Facebook, which read: “7 days and counting until we commence recording record 3 #trilogy.” A release date has not yet been set.

Klaxons made their debut in 2007 with 'Myths of the Near Future', but it was their second album which catapulted them into more mainstream success, with their single 'Echoes' earning particular fame.

The band last year cancelled a tour in North America, citing ‘unforeseen circumstances’ as the cause. It’s unknown whether they’ll be rescheduling the tour, but Stereoboard will be the first to let you know if they do.
