New Leona Lewis Album Release Date Pushed Back For Second Time

X-Factor-winning singer Leona Lewis has delayed the release of her third studio album ‘Glassheart’, pushing back the date for the second time.

Originally slated for release in November last year, the album was then re-scheduled for release in March later this year, after Leona decided to put in some extra recording sessions and increase the amount of songs on the LP.

But now, fans will be waiting until November for the release, a year after it was originally meant to hit shelves – and another 11 months from now. No official statement from Lewis or SyCo has been released, but Amazon has now listed November 26th as the release date.

Posts on Leona Lewis’ Twitter revealed that one of her tracks has reportedly leaked – but a leaked track will usually bring the release date forward, not back. The star wrote: “I'm sad that one of my songs leaked. As an artist that holds music dear to my heart I would've liked to share it with u when it's ready. I hope that you feel it like I do and when it's time to be released you'll still support it in the right way. Thank u for the love x”

Fans have been waiting for Lewis to put an album out for a long while, and after the first cancellation, she released an E.P entitled ‘Hurt’, which featured her cover of the Nine Inch Nails track of the same name, to keep fans happy – as they’ve waited almost three years for a new Leona Lewis record.
