Newly Reformed Marion Announce Full UK Tour

Following their split in 1999 and a successful comeback gig in Manchester last December, Marion have announced dates for a full UK tour.

Originally cited as potential successors to The Smiths, Britpoppers Marion will return in April for a UK tour. The core of the original line-up, including former members Phil Cunningham, Anthony Grantham and Julian Phillips, have returned along with newcomer drummer Jack Mitchell.

These new shows will be the first time the full line-up have come together since they split in the late 1990s, following a successful six-year run. Both Harding and Cunningham briefly reformed in 2006, however, the effort came to an end when Harding had to undergo open heart surgery.

Marion 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

Apr 7th - Manchester Ruby Lounge
Apr 10th - Glasgow King Tutts
Apr 12th - London O2 Islington Academy
Apr 13th - Sheffield Leadmill 2
Apr 14th - Durham Live Lounge
Apr 15th - York Duchess
