Johan Reinhold Releases Debut Single ‘Shoot Me Down’ – Listen Now

Swedish solo artist Johan Reinhold has released his debut EP ‘Shoot Me Down’ as a free download via his SoundCloud page. The EP, which is available now, features three remixes of the title track. ‘Shoot Me Down’ can be listened to below. Reinhold has previously been nominated for a Swedish Grammy Award.
Speaking about his music, Reinhold said: “I wanted to mix and play around with various styles like indie pop, French house, British rock and sprinkle that with some Swedish melancholy, taking me back to the sounds that really influenced my younger years.”
Going on to talk about ‘Shoot Me Down’, he added: “It's been said my new song sounds a lot like Miike Snow with some Broken Bells, M83 and Lykke Li thrown in there – but I urge you to take a listen and come to your own conclusion.”
The new EP includes a remix of ‘Shoot Me Down’ from producer Owsey, who recently worked with Birdy on her track ‘Skinny Love’. The single features production from Lasse Mortén, who has also worked with Primal Scream and fellow Swedes Lykke Li and Peter Bjorn & John.
