Superstar singer Madonna has unveiled the artwork to her new track ‘Gimme All Your Luvin’, as well as revealing the launch date for the official music video for the track.
The artwork features Madonna in a short cheerleader-esque costume, which will tie in with the music video’s theme of American football and cheerleaders – appropriate, seeing as the star will be performing at half-time of the Superbowl this Sunday. It’s set to be debuted this Friday (3rd of February) – but for you hardcore Madonna fans, there’ll be a preview screening of it on American Idol the day before.
The new track, which features M.I.A and Nicki Minaj, will feature on Madonna’s controversially-titled new album MDNA, which is set for release on March 26th. The single itself is slated for a February 3rd release. Madge released a teaser video for the whole album last week – you can check that out embedded below.
Meanwhile, Madonna fan sites and music rumour blogs have been running wild with rumours about the ‘Like a Virgin’ star. A site called WotYouGot, which was described by The Guardian newspaper as ‘the Wikileaks of pop’, is telling Madonna fans to "keep your July 2012 schedule clear" as they believe Madge will be touring the UK. They also wrote that the ‘Like a Virgin’ star would be performing in London’s Hyde Park on July 17th, as well as playing Edinburgh for the first time on July 21st. These dates are unofficial and unconfirmed.
If you’re waiting for an official Madonna announcement, rumours around the net have it that the superstar will officially confirm her world tour around February 5th-7th – following her half-time show at next weekend's Superbowl.
Make sure you stay with Stereoboard for any future Madonna news - we’ll let you know of any tour dates as soon as they are officially confirmed.
