The Twang Announce Release Of Brand New Single 'We're A Crowd'

Indie rockers The Twang have announced that their brand new single ‘We’re a Crowd’ will be hitting shelves on February 13th, ahead of the release of their brand new third studio album and their up and coming UK tour.

The single was penned during a writing session during summer last year - as the UK riots were kicking off ten minutes from the studio door. Although the track wasn’t directly written about the riots, the intensity of the situation has definitely bled through into the song - but the anger of the summer is refocused into the positives can be achieved when people stand up together. You can check the video for the track below.

‘We’re a Crowd’ is backed with two brand new Twang original B-sides – ‘Y.O.Y’ and ‘Heart to Heart’. ‘Y.O.Y’ may or may not be about a massive ding dong between bassist Jon Watkin and guitarist Stu Hartland which ultimately saw Stu leave the band. Of course, it could also be about two friends having a drunken argument!

To go with the release of the single, and of their third album ’10:20’ (which comes out later this year), the band will be embarking on a February and March UK tour. If you’re a fan of the Twang, check the dates and details out below the video.
