Maps & Atlases return to the UK in support of their sophomore album ‘Beware And Be Grateful’ due for release on 16th April.
The band have not visited these shores since the sold out tour in the wake of their ‘Perch Patchwork’ debut. The technical ability and deft musicality displayed in the Chicago quartet’s early EP releases saw them labelled with a ‘math-rock’ tag, but ‘Beware And Be Grateful’ continues their steady migration into pop territory.
Check out the mysterious album trailer below.
Made up of David (guitar, vocals), Erin (guitar), Shiraz (bass) and Chris (drums), Maps & Atlases are known for their dedicated fans and terrific live performances, which often end in an intimate acoustic set for any fans who might care to hang around after the main show has ended.
Maps & Atlases 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:
Apr 16th - Bristol Cooler
Apr 17th - London Garage
Apr 18th - Manchester Night And Day
Apr 19th - Glasgow Nice 'N Sleazy
Apr 20th - Leeds Brudenell
