Gomez Initial April UK Tour Dates Revealed

Genre-blurring Gomez have announced a handful of dates for a UK tour in April.

Five-piece Gomez have always been pioneers in their craft of blending rock, pop, electronica, folk, indie, blues, the list goes on... Arriving on the scene in the 1990s, alongside bands like Super Furry Animals and The Beta Band, Gomez went on to win the Mercury Music Prize in 1998 for their debut album 'Bring It On'.

Having sold in the region of 2 million records worldwide, Gomez released their latest offering of new material in the shape of their seventh studio album 'Whatever's On Your Mind' in June last year and have been giving away tracks from the album for free over at their Official Facebook Page.

Currently preparing for a tour of the US, Gomez will be supporting 'Whatever's On Your Mind' with a run of live UK dates in April. So far details of shows in Glasgow, Cardiff, Brighton and Preston have emerged. More dates could be added soon.

Gomez 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

Apr 20th - Cardiff Cardiff University
Apr 22nd - Brighton Corn Exchange
Apr 24th - 53 Degrees, Preston
Apr 25th - O2 ABC Glasgow
