The Wonder Years Announce Second Date at Kingston Peel

US pop-punkers The Wonder Years have revealed a second date at Kingston Peel after their previously-announced first night on Monday 23rd April sold out. At their newly-confirmed date on Tuesday 24th April, the band will perform their latest album ‘Suburbia I’ve Given You All and Now I’m Nothing’ in its entirety.

‘Suburbia’, the band’s critically-acclaimed third album and the follow-up to 2010’s ‘The Upsides’, was released last year. Their upcoming UK dates follow November’s support slots with Yellowcard and Saves The Day. In addition to their own headlining dates at Kingston Peel, The Wonder Years will also be performing at Nottingham’s Hit the Deck festival alongside the likes of Kids in Glass Houses, Cancer Bats and Deaf Havana – see below for tickets.

Speaking about their new Kingston date, Wonder Years frontman Dan ‘Soupy’ Campbell said: “Banquet Records named our album, ‘Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing’, the best of 2011 and we were honored. Then, we sold out the show they're hosting for us at The Peel in Kingston in under a week and were even more honored. Considering the sum of these two events, we couldn't be more excited to announce that we're going to be playing all of ‘Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing’ at a special second show at the Peel. These shows come as a result of our upcoming trip to the UK to play the famed Hit the Deck Festival in Nottingham with a lot of amazing bands and close friends. The fest is going to be amazing and we're extremely excited to be a part of this year's events.”
