Courtney Love Responds To Daughter's Pet Death Claims

Reports from US addiction and recovery website www.thefix.com claim that American rockstar and actress Courtney Love has become embroiled in an argument with her daughter Frances Bean Cobain, after the daughter told author Maer Roshan that her mother’s wild antics and drug use led to the death of her pet cat and dog.

Earlier this month, we reported that Love’s daughter Cobain had told Roshan, who was writing the book ‘Courtney Comes Clean’ at the time, that her mother’s behaviour led to the death of both her cat and dog, who swallowed her pills and became entrapped in the mess of her house.

But now, Love has responded to the comments, starting a family dispute over Twitter. She wrote via the social networking site: “It was a mountain lion that killed Peabody!! I'm a kitty killer! Who puts such an unjudged piece of trash in a madman's hands?”

Meanwhile, Love has made it known that she’s unhappy with the amount of personal information that’s been detailed in Roshan’s book – and is considering taking legal action.

Her lawyer James Jorowitz told the New York Post: “For somebody to meddle in such private and personal matters is pretty reprehensible. We can say that all of the statements made about [Love] relating to the court filings, her daughter and other personal matters is false.”
