Following last week’s confirmation of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, the response has been overwhelming. As a result Mother Monster has announced four new shows for down-under, with tickets going onsale 9am tomorrow, Friday 17th February.
Pop superstar Lady Gaga has confirmed three shows in both Sydney, June 20th, 21st and 23rd at Allphones Arena and Melbourne, June 27th, 28th and 30th at Rod Laver Arena, and two shows in both Brisbane, June 13th and 14th at Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Auckland, June 7th and 8th at Vector Arena, in addition to previously announced Perth, July 7th at Burswood Dome will all go on sale to the public tomorrow, Friday 17th February at 9am. Five-time Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga is set to make a triumphant return to the stage with her Born This Way Ball. In this brand new tour, Gaga will perform her latest album 'Born This Way' as well as music from both 'The Fame' and 'The Fame Monster'. The Born This Way Ball will begin on April 27th in Seoul, South Korea, and will travel the globe including cities that Gaga has never played before.
Lady Gaga is rumoured to announced her Born This Way Ball UK dates very soon, within the next few weeks in fact. Latest Gaga gossip has revealed that the pop superstar may confirm the UK shows to coincide with the UK's V Festival line-up announcement on Sunday 26th February. Could Gaga be making a headline appearance at the V Festival perhaps?
Speaking about the forthcoming tour, Mother Monster commented: "The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage. The Born This Way Ball is an Electro-Metal Pop-Opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.”
