Johnny Hallyday Reveals Details Of New Album 'Jamais Seul' & Royal Albert Hall Live Dates

His story reads like rock 'n' roll itself; throughout his long and eventful history, Johnny Hallyday has always succeeded in coming back stronger and more convincing every time.  With a career spanning over 50 years, France’s only fully fledged rock’n’roll star is still going strong.

If proof were needed, Hallyday’s new album, 'Jamais Seu'l (Never Alone), Number One in the French album chart earlier this year, is set for release in the UK on 28th February. Johnny has hardly ever been so involved in the creation of a disc: omnipresent in the studio, refining the arrangements, discussing the harmonies.

As says Hallyday’s collaborator, French superproducer -M-, “We saw ourselves in each other: both humanly and artistically.  We have the same heroes, only he has hung out with them...” These heroes are honoured on tracks such as 'Paul & Mick', a mischievous duel between the Beatles and Stones and 'Guitar Hero', dedicated to Jimi Hendrix. In other tracks, Hallyday makes declarations of love to his friends and loved ones without whom - he says - he would probably not still be with us: 'Elle a Mis de l’eau' (She Put Water in), dedicated to his wife Laeticia, and 'Jade Dort' (Jade Sleeps), a sweet paternal lullaby.

Arguably France's greatest rock star and icon, Johnny Hallyday also brings his 'Avec Vous' tour to the Royal Albert Hall Hall on 15th & 16th October 2012 for his first ever live UK show. The singer, who released his debut single in 1960, will perform hits from his illustrious musical career.

Johnny Hallyday UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:

Mon October 15th 2012 - Royal Albert Hall, London
Tue October 16th 2012 - Royal Albert Hall, London
