'Aliens Would Be Too Interested In Our Reproductive Organs To Listen To Us,' Say Blink-182

Blink-182 have modestly revealed that if aliens were to visit our lovely planet Earth, they wouldn’t be too interested in their music – because they’d be too taken aback by the ‘hypocrisy’ of our reproductive organs doubling as our waste elimination organs.
The band were asked by Digital Spy which song they’d choose to play to an extraterrestrial life-form and if they thought it’d be interested in the tracks – but bassist Mark Hoppus seems to think the aliens would be more concerned with why we’re firing our waste out of the same place that makes our babies!
Referring to which Blink track they’d play to E.T, Hoppus replied, “I think it would be 'Feeling This' from our last record (Blink-182) or 'Up All Night' from this record (Neighbourhoods) I feel the same about them and I think they draw from everything Blink-182 does. Probably 'Feeling This' would be my final choice. I feel it really encompasses what we do as a band.”
He then went on to explain his theory on whether they’d be interested in the music at all – “I think they'd be more distracted by the fact that our sexual reproduction organs are the same as the organs that eliminate waste from our body. I think they'd be more distracted by that hypocrisy to really care about music.”
To be fair to Hoppus, it’s a logical point – but we’ll have to wait until we’re visited to find out if he’s right though. If you’d rather visit Blink 182 on their up and coming UK tour, though, then you can find out when they’re going to be in a town near you by checking the dates and details below.
