Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga is reportedly planning a complete media blackout for a ‘very long time’, according to reports from news site Jam! Showbiz - with the singer apparently claiming she has nothing left to say to news sites and paparazzi.
The ‘Born This Way’ star will apparently appear on Oprah Winfrey’s eponymous US talk show, and will reveal to the host that following her appearance on the program, she’ll remain out of the public eye for an unknown amount of time.
Gaga reportedly tells Winfrey: “Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time… No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about it…' I shut it all off. I don't read a damn thing [the press write about me].”
She went on to talk about NME’s decision to award her with the ‘Most Pretentious Album Ever’, saying: “Oh the irony of winning ‘Most Pretentious Album Ever’ from none other than NME. I might laugh forever + then return to narcissism.”
The comments could be some of the last we hear from Gaga, at least from this medium of communication.
