Wu Lyf NOT Leaving Live Music Scene - Despite 'Goodbye Forever' Comments

Mystery Manchester rockers Wu Lyf caused panic among their fans after they said ‘goodbye forever’ to the crowd at their gig in London’s Heaven last night – only to tell NME that the show would not be their last, and that it would be ‘boring’ to just say ‘see you next year’.

Earlier on in the tour, there had been rumours that the band’s frontman Ellery Roberts had told fans at their show in Manchester’s HMV Ritz that the show would be the last ever gig – a claim that was quashed when the band continued their run of dates. Then, they teased that they’d be retiring from live music again last night – only to comeback on themselves once again.

He told the site: “When we talk about things, it's always in a forever sense. If you're our age, a year is a long time. You live a different life each year. We like to create a bit of drama, that's what excites me to play every night. It'd be boring to just say 'see ya next year'.”

The comments will be good news for American and European fans – as the band are set to tour in both Europe and across America in the coming months.
