Sonisphere Knebworth Cancelled Due To Poor Ticket Sales?

This Summer's Knebworth Sonisphere Festival has reportedly been cancelled. Rumours are currently spreading across the internet after Thrash Hits reported that the Summer rock and metal festival had been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

There has been no official announcement as yet and festival organisers, Kilimanjaro, are set to release an official statement on the situation tomorrow. Several people connected to Sonisphere have reportedly already confirmed the cancellation.

Sonisphere Knebworth, which is currently set to take place between 6th and 8th July, will be headlined by KISS, Queen and Faith No More. The festival is also set to host 10th anniversary sets from both Glassjaw and Hundred Reasons, as well as a performance by Refused, their only confirmed UK show.

Check back to Stereoboard for further details on whether or not Sonisphere Knebworth has been cancelled. We'll bring you the full official news as soon as Kilimanjaro make a statement.
