Beck has announced his Ride Lonesome Tour.
The multi-Grammy Award-winning artist will kick off the 25-date North American trek on September 16 at Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre and wrap things up on October 31 at The Truth in Nashville.
Other stops on the trek include the Santa Barbara Bowl, the Greek in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and two nights apiece at The Masonic in San Francisco, Massey Hall in Toronto and Brooklyn Paramount. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 24).
The tour takes its name from the American singer-songwriter and producer's surprise new single, Ride Lonesome, which he produced and Nigel Godrich mixed. The track echoes the lush, haunting sounds of 2002’s 'Sea Change' and 2014's 'Morning Phase', alongside gentle acoustic elements and contributions from several musicians who also played on those albums.
Beck will play a series of shows in Australia next month, three at the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and two at Melbourne's Palais Theatre with the Philarmonia Australia orchestra. The dates follow the success of his 2024 orchestral US tour and his spring 2025 London show with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. Tickets are on sale now.
He released his latest studio album, 'Hyperspace', in 2019, followed by an expanded edition in 2020. Most recently, in January of this year he put out 'Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime’, an eight-track collection of rarities, deep cuts and covers.
