David Guetta Starting Own Record Label

Electro and house superstar David Guetta has revealed that he’ll be starting his own record label, after telling Brazil’s Ultra Music Festival he was ‘going to start a new electronic label’.

The new venture is one of the only remaining music achievements the star has yet to put under his belt, with Guetta having already found fame through music production, DJing and song-writing, and will see him continue to work with some of the biggest names in music, as well as some of the more up and coming producers – like Dutch-man Nicky Romero, who is reportedly the first act Guetta has signed up to the new company.

In fact, it’s also been said by Music Rooms that Guetta and Romero’s brand new collaboration ‘Metropolis’, which you can hear at the bottom of the page, is set to be the first release on the record – and could be coming to record stores near you soon.

You can catch David Guetta at one of his three UK shows this summer. If you need tickets, check the dates and details below the video.

David Guetta UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:

Fri June 1st 2012 - Alexandra Palace, London
Sat June 2nd 2012 - Alexandra Palace, London
Sun August 26th 2012 - Custom House Square Belfast, Belfast
