Steps Wow Fans On UK Tour Opener with Lady Gaga & Kylie Mashup

British pop icons Steps kicked off their ‘Ultimate’ reunion tour in Belfast last night, and impressed the audience with stage dances and renditions of their classic tracks. But it wasn’t just the classics which wowed fans at the Odyssey Arena – the Steps gang also performed covers of superstar singers like Rihanna, Kylie and Lady Gaga to great applause.
The group have returned once again to bring their unique pop experience back to British stages, but it wasn’t their huge-selling singles and records that got the crowd going, it was their impressive covers – which included a mash-up of Lady Gaga’s ‘Judas’ and Kylie Minogue’s ‘Better The Devil You Know’.
Maroon 5’s ‘Moves Like Jagger’ was also covered at the show by Lee Latchford-Evans and Faye Tozer, who also sang Rihanna’s ‘S&M’, whilst Lisa Scott-Lee entertained the crowd with a mash-up of Chris Brown’s ‘Beautiful Love’ her own track ‘Lately’.
Amongst their own tracks were sing-along classics ‘One For Sorrow’ and ‘Deeper Shade of Blue’, while they remixed their own tune ‘Tragedy’ with Abba’s hit ‘Dancing Queen.
