Justin Townes Earle Releases New Album 'Nothing’s Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now’

Tuesday, 17 April 2012 Written by Jon Stickler

'Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now', the brand new album from singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle, is out now on Bloodshot Records and as a taster of what to expect, the album's title track is currently streaming on Soundcloud.

Produced by Earle alongside his longtime collaborator Skylar Wilson, the 10-track album was recorded completely live with no overdubs over a 4-day period at an old converted church recording studio in Asheville, NC.

Of the new record, Earle comments, “I think that it’s the job of the artist to be in transition and constantly learn more. The new record is completely different than my last one, Harlem River Blues. This time I’ve gone in a Memphis-soul direction.”

'Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now' track-listing is as follows:

1. Am I That Lonely Tonight?
2. Look the Other Way
3. Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now
4. Baby’s Got a Bad Idea
5. Maria
6. Down on the Lower East Side
7. Won’t Be the Last Time
8. Memphis in the Rain
9. Unfortunately, Anna
10. Movin’ On

This is Earle’s fourth release and follows his critically acclaimed 2010 album ‘Harlem River Blues’, which led to a “Song of the Year” award at the 2011 Americana Music Awards. In celebration of the release, Earle will head over to the UK for three special shows in June. Justin Townes Earle 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

June 13th - Bristol, St Bonaventures Club
