British glam rockers The Darkness have been fighting their way back to the top since their reunion last year, and have even earnt themselves a spot supporting eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga on the European leg of her up and coming world tour. But now, they've signed up for something a little different – and you'll soon be able to catch them appearing on Cbeebies show 'Zingzillas'.
The 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' singers will be rocking out alongside primate rockers Zingzillas on their children’s TV show on Monday April 23rd, and they join a long list of legendary rockers who've appeared on the musical show. The Darkness' appearance will mark the start of the show's fourth series.
Speaking of the decision, guitarist Dan Hawkins said: ““There have been many legendary musicians on ZingZillas in the past so we were honoured to be invited to the island to perform!Since becoming a dad twice in the last two years I have often found my sanity being saved after sleepless nights by watching ZingZillas, with their great songs/musicians and often funny storylines.”
