Hip-hop and pop singer Nicki Minaj only managed to last eight days away from Twitter, and has now signed back up to the social networking site - 10,000,000 followers down from before.
The star left her page – which you can find here - after arguing with a fan who allegedly leaked clips of tracks from Minaj's new album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'. She vowed to never return to the site, and even told Tim Westwood recently that she didn't want to reactivate her account – despite Westwood's pleading.
But, now she seems to have U-turned, and is back to her usual 140 character business – though she hasn't actually tweeted anyone since her return. She's gonna have to wait a while, though, for her vast amount of followers to return – she's currently sitting on 1.1million, but had around 11million prior to her decision to quit the site. Speaking to Graham Norton before she reactivated, Minaj explained why she let the site.
“A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that's what I did. I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me.I miss my Barbz, please bear with me.”
