John Cale Announces October UK Tour & Ticket Details

70 year-old Welsh-born musician and singer-songwriter John Cale has announced an October UK tour, following the release of the remixed version of his latest EP 'Extra Playful'.
The tour will see The Velvet Underground star performing in venues in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and more as he travels the country on a seven-stop road trip this autumn. Tickets for the tour go onsale tomorrow (Friday April 27th) at 9am, all starting at £20.00 + fees – sans tickets for the London show, which will cost £25.00 + fees, and the Manchester show, which will start at £22.50 + fees.
Cale is apparently set to announce the release of a brand new album, which could potentially hit shelves around the same time as the tours. His latest EP, 'Extra Playful', came out in September last year – and has now been given the remix treatment, with Tim Hecker, Maria Minerva, and Actress all reworking tracks on the album.
