Kasabian To Release Live CD And DVD Of London O2 Arena Show

Leicester-based rockers Kasabian have announced that they'll be releasing a live album and DVD this summer, which was filmed at their O2 Arena gig in London back in December.
The new release will be titled 'Live!: Live At the O2' and is set to hit shelves on June 25th. The DVD was shot in high definition and features 19 tracks performed live, whilst the CD contains the audio of 13 tracks from the gig. Fans who purchase the collection will also receive a documentary titled 'I Hear Voices', which follows the boys on their recent arena tour. The whole package will also be made available on Blu-Ray – meaning you'll be able to watch the gig in crisp quality.
The new live DVD/album will probably be the band's only release of the year, but a new album looks like it's on the cards for 2013, with the band's frontman Tom Meighan revealing that they have 'lots of stuff written' for a follow-up to last year's 'Velociraptor!'
Meighan said: “"I think Sergio's got loads of stuff written already. I imagine he has because he never stops writing. So I can't imagine when we're going to record a record, not at the moment, probably next year sometime.”
