Owl City's Adam Young has been out of the spotlight for some time now, busy writing a brand new studio album. With a UK release just around the corner, Owl City will return to the live stage on 7th August at London's Kings College.
After album track 'Dementia' leaked online, fans have been left excited and intrigued about what else the forthcoming new record holds. Some have described the partnership of Adam and Blink-182's Mark Hoppus as the perfect pairing.
Adam spoke about the track 'Dementia' and revealed the song was written following the success of his successful 2009 debut album 'Ocean Eyes. He describes the track as “crazy, schizophrenic thoughts and feelings”, all of which he experienced after the release of his debut record.
Adam announced via his Twitter page that a new EP is to be released on tomorrow, Tuesday 15th May. The EP is to contain four songs from the full album; 'Shooting Star', 'Dementia (feat. Mark Hoppus)', 'Gold' and 'Take It All Away'. Check back to Stereoboard for further details on the new Owl City album.
