Girl group fans rejoice, Girls Aloud have confirmed that they're in the studio working on new material for their 10th anniversary comeback.
The group, which consists of Geordie star Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, haven't released any new material since their 2008 album 'Out of Control', but are finally back in the studio again to celebrate 10 years since their formation back in 2002. The news was revealed by producers at Xenomania Records, who wrote through Twitter that they were in the studio with the girls.
Xenomania wrote: “Prepping to go in the studio with @NadineCoyleNOW for new GA sessions,” as well as “New GA sessions with @NicolaRoberts @KimberleyJWalsh @SarahNicHarding in the studio over the last week.”
The news follows Cheryl Cole's recent comments, which saw her telling Girls Aloud fans to ”watch out” for their reunion, and that an announcement would be coming. The material is apparently set to hit our ears in November – so stay tuned.
