Following a sold-out headline tour in January and a support slot on The Wanted’s Arena Tour in February and March, guitar pop four-piece Lawson have sold out their May tour in the run up to their debut single ‘When She Was Mine’, released 27th May on Polydor. The tour includes Lawson’s biggest headline show to date at London Kings College on 30th May.
The band were also recently mobbed at their Station Sessions performance. Check it out below.
Joining Andy in Lawson are Joel Peat (lead guitar), Adam Pitts (drums), and Ryan Fletcher (bass). Respectively from Liverpool, Mansfield, Brighton and Chesterfield, Lawson formed in 2009 and spent over two years gigging and writing songs before signing to Polydor/ Global Talent in autumn last year. Their debut album, also produced by John Shanks, will be released later this year.
‘When She Was Mine’ was written by Lawson frontman Andy Brown and produced by John Shanks, the Grammy Award winning producer of Take That’s albums ‘Beautiful World’ and ‘The Circus’. Check out the Alias remix out on May 28th, below.
