World-beating boyband One Direction left a handful of young American girls in a state of blissful shock this week – after they played a surprise gig in a local US diner.
The appearance, which formed part of video site VEVO's new VEVO Go sessions, took place in Cadillac Jack's diner in California, and saw them performing an acoustic rendition of their massive hit single 'What Makes You Beautiful'.
The pretty much all-female crowd visited the diner in hopes of seeing a preview of the group's brand new DVD 'Up All Night: The Live Tour' – but ended up getting a lot more, as Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam all walked out from the kitchen before bursting into song.
The crowd, who were surprisingly quiet for a group of starstruck One Directioners, were treated to an all-acoustic performance complete with acoustic guitar and ketchup bottle microphones. You can check out the video embedded below.
