Industrial metal outfit Fear Factory have announced a one-off show in London's KOKO venue on December 18th, following the release of 'The Industrialist' – the band's eighth studio album – earlier this week.
Fear Factory’s innovative approach towards, and hybridization of the genres of industrial metal, death metal and alternative metal has had a lasting impact on metal music ever since the release of their first album 'Soul of a New Machine' in 1992. Fear Factory is noteworthy among contemporaries for their lyrical focus on science fiction, with much of their music telling a single story spanning several concept albums.
The revamped Fear Factory, featuring original members Dino Cazares on guitar and Burton C Bell on vocals alongside bassist Byron Stroud and Gene Hoglan on drums, released their eighth studio album 'Mechanize' earlier this week on June 5th – meaning the forthcoming show will be packed full of brand new music.
