The sharp-eyed Girls Aloud fans may have spotted something intriguing earlier today - the girls have updated their official Facebook page to include brand new promo shots. In preparation for announcing some big news perhaps?
The wait is on after Girls Aloud confirmed that they're in the studio working on new material for their 10th anniversary return to the spotlight.
The group, which consists of Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, haven't released any new material since their 2008 album 'Out of Control', however, the girls have been working hard in studio to release new material to mark 10 years since their formation back in 2002.
News that the girls were back in the studio broke last month when producers at Xenomania Records wrote via Twitter: “Prepping to go in the studio with @NadineCoyleNOW for new GA sessions,” as well as “New GA sessions with @NicolaRoberts @KimberleyJWalsh @SarahNicHarding in the studio over the last week.”
The Girls Aloud Facebook activity follows Cheryl Cole's recent comments, telling Girls Aloud fans to ”watch out” for their reunion and that an announcement would be coming soon.
