The Stone Roses are a legendary English rock band, but the Queen may have something to say about frontman Ian Brown’s latest onstage antics - after it was reported that he wiped his behind with an English flag being waved by an audience member.
The incident, which allegedly took place at Denmark’s NorthSide Festival, happened after Brown spotted an audience member with the national flag, and asked him to throw it up onto the stage.
Brown is then said to have told the fan: “That's the fucking pope’s flag! Not cool, man!” - before proceeding to throw down, jump on, and wipe the flag in front of a probably rather confused Danish crowd.
The story comes just over a week after their drummer Reni walked out on an encore in Amsterdam, resulting in Brown branding him a c*nt. You can read more on that story here.
