Michael McIntyre Injures Thigh Poking Fun At Joe Hart

British stand-up star Michael McIntyre has reportedly managed to injure himself whilst performing in Ireland earlier in the week - after trying to poke fun at Joe Hart’s attempt to save Andrea Pirlo’s penalty in the recent England vs Italy match.

The 36 year-old hurt his thigh after jokingly diving onto the stage as a dig at England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who was cheekily chipped by Italy star Pirlo in the quarter-finals of Euro 2012. But, Hart can have the last laugh over McIntyre, as the comic was forced to leave the stage to recover.

He later returned to the stage on crutches, before performing the rest of the show whilst sat on a chair. He remained in high spirits, though, and jokingly told the audience: “You're entitled to a refund. It isn't the show you paid for — unless you enjoy casualty waiting rooms.”
