Bring Me The Horizon Sign New Deal With RCA Records

Yorkshire-based metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon have announced that they’ve signed a brand new record deal with RCA Records, and will release a new album in 2013.

The band are currently working on the new LP, set to be the fourth of their career, and hope to release it in 2013, while they will be making their live return on November 10th, co-headlining the Vans Warped Tour at Alexander Palace alongside Lostprophets.

Speaking of of working on the follow up to 2010’s ‘There is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There is a Heaven, Let's Keep it a Secret’, Guitarists Lee Malia and Jona Weinofen revealed that they’re going to be switching up from their usual screamo-metalcore sound onto a more post-rock influenced sound.

“Lee and I are listening to a lot of post-rock lately,” Weinhofen told the Alternative Press. “It might sound strange, but we listen to this laid-back, epic music and think 'If this was heavy - if we made metal out of this kind of music - it would be exactly what we want to sound like.

“We have really big aspirations for this record. However, there is a very little amount of new material; we're not very good at getting motivated to write on tour.”

Bring Me The Horizon have made a firm mark on the world of heavy music since forming in 2004. Their last critically acclaimed album ‘There Is A Hell...’ brought their unique form of heavy music to a global audience and saw the band tour the world, performing to sell out crowds.

Bring Me The Horizon perform at this year's Warped Tour. Of their only UK show of 2012 Jona Weinhofen says: "We couldn't be more stoked to play Warped Tour UK this November! We had an absolute blast on Warped Tour USA in 2010 and after such a long break writing the album this year, we'll be ready to hit that stage HARD! Hopefully this will be the beginning of many future Warped Tour events all over the UK."
