You Me At Six have announced they will play their biggest headline show to date at Wembley Arena on December 8th 2012. To mark this monumental announcement the band can also confirm they will release the single ‘Reckless’ (taken from their Gold-selling ‘Sinners Never Sleep’ album) on October 22nd 2012.
To commemorate this achievement, You Me At Six will be collaborating with Abbey Road Live Here Now to record and film ‘The Final Night Of Sin’ show. Fans will be able to purchase a unique limited edition 3-disc CD/DVD, 2-disc audio CD or an MP3 download. All products will be available to pre-order (plus exclusive competition prizes) when tickets for the show go on sale on Wednesday 29th August.
This landmark Wembley show rounds off an incredible 12 months for the boys from Surrey. The album ‘Sinners Never Sleep’ has seen You Me At Six explore their most mature sound to date extending the band’s scope wider than ever before. All the single releases; ‘Loverboy’, ‘Bite My Tongue’ (featuring Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes) and ‘No One Does It Better’ were A-Listed at Radio One plus the band collaborated with Thorpe Park in an industry first to write a bespoke track to launch Europe’s tallest winged roller-coaster, ‘The Swarm’.
On the live front You Me At Six played their biggest UK tour and had top billing on the second stage at this year’s Download Festival. This Summer the band won Kerrang’s Best British Band for the second year running and then returned to America to play on the legendary Vans Warped Tour. This extensive run of dates will lead the boys into playing the main stage for the second time at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds Festival.
