English alternative rockers Deaf Havana have announced that they’ve created a brand new documentary surrounding the reasons behind their decision to re-release their second album ‘Fools and Worthless Liars’ as a deluxe edition.
Released on November 7th 2011, Fools and Worthless Liars was an instant success, occupying the #1 slot in the UK Rock album chart and posting some very impressive numbers. Now, they’re re-releasing it as a special deluxe edition - complete with a bonus CD full of alternative versions of the albums tracks.
Now, there’s a brand new documentary explaining the decision for fans to lay their eyes on - you can watch it below. Directed by Daniel Broadley, the 20 minute video feature sees frontman James Veck-Gilodi and bassist Lee Wilson explaining what fueled the re-release of Fools and Worthless Liars and discussing the recording process. “It just all came as a surprise” says James, “I wrote this record fairly quickly with Tom, it is a really personal record and I didn’t even know if anyone was going to get it”.
After four playlisted radio singles, a tour that sold out in just two months and another on the verge of selling out including the infamous Shepherds Bush Empire in London, Deaf Havana have cemented their spot as one of the most exciting, refreshing and honest UK rock bands out there. With tours scheduled in Japan, U.S.A and Australia, ‘Fools and Worthless Liars’ has struck a chord around the world.
