The Cribs Unveil Video For New Single 'Anna' & Announce More UK Dates

Following a summer of festival appearances including this year’s Reading and Leeds, The Cribs have announced full details of their upcoming Autumn tour. The band who released their fifth album ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’ this year, celebrate their ten year anniversary later this year and have just announced details of a new single ‘Anna’ – which is accompanied by a unique video collaboration with artist Martin Creed.
Work # 1431 is the new work by Turner Prize winning artist and musician Martin Creed. Equally, it is the new music video for The Cribs' single ‘Anna’. It features intimate photographs taken by the band jolting in and out of rhythm with the music, quick enough to recognise but not quite enough to see them fully. The stripped-down, deadpan minimalism is typical of Creed’s style and fits in with the full-on heartfelt directness of The Cribs. Both born in Wakefield, they were mutual fans of each other before meeting last year when The Cribs invited Creed and his band to support them on their UK tour.
