Manchester-based duo Greatwaves have released their track ‘Into the Blue’ as a free download - you can grab it at the bottom of the page.
Hailing from Liverpool and London, and now residing in Manchester, the two share a vision for making boundless music and have done so from the moment they met. A plethora of synths, drum machines, cascading guitars, and organic field recordings accompany front man David De Lacy’s deep, penetrating vocals and streams of consciousness.
Live performances include hypnotic projections of flowers bursting forth into life, the movement of clouds and the slow rising of the moon as De Lacy howls across swathes of Oliver Cooper’s electronics.
Two legendary ‘off the cuff’ winter house shows placed witnesses in awe, causing a sweep amongst the territories of Manchester. A spring hibernation followed, which has given birth to their Summer debut AA single ‘The Shore/Into the Blue’ (Sways Records).
And, as a gift to their fans, they’ve decided to give away ‘Into the Blue’ as a free download. Check it out below.
