Capital Cities Stream Debut EP - Listen Now

Preparing to wow at the hotly anticipated CMJ festival, Capital Cities are riding the crest of a wave at the moment. Dual singers Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian may have Craigs List to thank for their quite unlikely union, but fans worldwide have been grateful to them for their eclectic brand of thoughtful electro rock.

The band have taken their sound far and wide and have gained many a fan along the way, boasting a fan base that could cause a fair deal of band jealousy. Their anthem 'Safe & Sound' has been permeating the nooks and crannies of America at an alarming pace as more and more radio stations add it to circulation. This is a trend growing across Europe, something quite staggering when you consider that Capital Cities are currently without a label.

This week, the band are offering their debut EP up for streaming. Are they a one-hit wonder? A million times no. Featuring joyous, imaginative tracks like 'I Sold My Bed But Not My Stereo', 'Patience Gets Us Nowhere Fast', 'Center Stage', 'Love Away' and of course 'Safe & Sound', this is an accomplished EP which earmarks Capital Cities as a band ready to fill that MGMT shaped hole that exists in our lives.
