Emily Eavis 'Would Love' To Have The Rolling Stones At Glastonbury 2013

Earlier in the month we reported that legendary rockers The Rolling Stones may be appearing at next year’s Glastonbury Festival. Today, Michael Eavis’ daughter Emily revealed that they are doing their best to get the band on board for the festival’s 2013 return - saying that they ‘would love it to happen’.
Mick Jagger and co. are set to make a sensational return later this year, and have lined-up four gigs - two in London, two in Newark - to mark their 50th anniversary. The shows are set to be absolutely massive, with tickets already selling for £11,000 via secondary ticket website. Now, it looks like they could be making Glastonbury fifth installment of their anniversary celebrations - as long as they can strike a deal with Eavis and co.
Speaking to NME, Emily Eavis said: “We’d obviously like that to happen, we’ve always been quite open about that, whether or not it does, I cannot say. I could not tell you now whether it’s going to happen. But we would love it to happen next year, we feel like if it’s going to happen, it’s got to happen next year. So, you know, we’d love for it to happen, so we’ll try our best – I’ll let you know how we get on.”
