George Thorogood And The Destroyers To Tour UK In June 2013 As Part Of 40th Anniversary Celebrations

American blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter George Thorogood has announced some summer 2013 UK tour dates, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of his first album ‘Better Than the Rest’.
Though ‘Better Than the Rest’ was properly released in 1979, it was first finished and heard back in 1974, almost 40 years ago. Now, all these years later, Thorogood and his partners in crime The Destroyers will be heading back out on the road once again for a brand new anniversary tour.
The tour - which will currently see them performing five UK gigs - will take them to venues in London, Cambridge, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow, in June 2013. Tickets for the gigs go on sale this Friday (October 26th) at 9am, and will cost £28.50 + fees (London £34.00 + fees) - you can find yours through Stereoboard using the dates and links below.
