English rock superstars The Rolling Stones have been fined £200,000 after breaking the 10:30pm curfew at their massive O2 Arena gig on Sunday by 35 minutes.
The fine, though rather large, probably won’t make a massive impact on the band considering the price fans had to pay for tickets to the concert, but still highlights the problem there has been recently with venues having strict curfew laws - an epic performance involving Sir Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen was sadly cut short earlier this year after they over ran their curfew.
Bernard Doherty, the band’s agent, told the The Business Standard: “It means a big fine - but the guys just do their thing. There wasn't a janitor standing there, jangling his keys, saying. 'I want to go home.”
You still have one chance to catch the band if you missed their O2 Arena gig on the weekend - the band are performing in there again on Thursday night. Check the dates and links below to find tickets.
