M83 Unveils 'Wait' Final Video Of Video Trilogy - Watch Now

M83 aka French artist Anthony Gonzalez has unveiled a brand new video for 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming' album track 'Wait', the final video of the M83 trilogy (following the official videos for 'Midnight City' and 'Reunion').

'Wait' Directors Fleur and Manu – who also directed the first two videos in this trilogy, 'Midnight City' and 'Reunion', commented on the new video: "'Wait' is the final episode of the trilogy, the end point of this great visual collaboration that has been ongoing with M83 throughout 2012. We felt it was important to re-connect with a meaningful subject that would have an echo in today's world. The promise of a new cycle, seen through the kid's eyes.”

Fleur and Manu’s vision for 'Wait' was brought to life with the support of The Creators Project a partnership between Intel and VICE. Breathtaking in scope, it encompasses the beauty of this album and nurtures the goals Anthony set out to achieve.

Anthony Gonzalez says: “I love composing music and making music with pictures in my head, it’s really what’s driving me. Cinema is the biggest influence for me - even bigger than music itself, so this album is built as a soundtrack, as an imaginary film. This is what we tried to convey with this trilogy. When I first talked with Fleur and Manu about this video project it was pretty obvious we wanted the same results. I think they were the perfect directors to achieve this...”

“To see what my music can do to people and what happened on this album is truly incredible and unexpected… I’m really happy.”
