Jack White Claims Meg Was 'Very Uninterested' During Time In White Stripes

Musical genius Jack White has claimed that it was difficult to get along with Meg in the best years of The White Stripes - because she was ‘very uninterested’ and lacked any enthusiasm.
The pair of performers found massive success all over the world in their 14 year span in music, topping the UK Albums chart twice, and going platinum many a time. But, despite their massive success, Jack seemed to be the only one who had any real interest in their music, according to an interview with Esquire.
“In The White Stripes, it was impossible to share the good moments with Meg because she was very uninterested,” Jack revealed. “If something nice happened, it wasn't like we would hug or have a drink. That wasn't what went on.
“We would record a White Stripes song in the studio and it would be me, Meg and an engineer. So we would finish a mix of a song and I'd say, 'Wow! That's pretty good!' I'd look around and Meg would just be sitting there, and the engineer would just be sitting there.”
He added: “So it'd be sorta like, 'OK... Let's just move on to the next one.' It was just me by myself. But it was the best thing for me. It taught me a lot about trusting my gut.”
Jack is now currently enjoying the success of his debut solo album ‘Blunderbuss’, which topped charts in the UK, the US, Canada, and many other countries.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
