Rumours Of Nirvana Reunion Tour Are 'Nonsense', Says Dave Grohl

Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl has dashed fans hopes of a Nirvana reunion, telling the New York Posts that their reports are ‘nonsense’.

Following on from Sir Paul McCartney’s recent venture into the shoes of Kurt Cobain, which saw him perform a brand new track alongside Nirvana’s Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear, the internet was running wild with rumours of a Nirvana reunion tour - with or without Beatles legend Macca as the frontman.

But today, Grohl has revealed that there is no plans for a get-together of the iconic 90s grunge outfit, and told the New York Post that their story claiming that a tour was on the way was actually ‘nonsense’ - much to the delight of some of Nirvana’s hardcore fans, who think their legacy should remain untouched for the rest of time.

What do you think of then news - disappointed that you won’t be able to see the band, or happy that the Nirvana name isn’t tarnished? Let us know in the comments section below.
