X Factor Winner James Arthur Tops 1 Million Sales And Confirms Syco Label Signing

X Factor winner James Arther has confirmed today that he has signed a recording deal with Syco, and is also celebrating his debut single 'Impossible' topping more than 1 million sales - over the space of only 5 weeks!
"I am thrilled to be part of the Syco family, working with Simon and his team is exactly where I want to be. I can't wait to get into the studio to start work on my record!" , says James.
Released in December 2012, ‘Impossible’ went straight to Number One, becoming the fastest selling single of the year. In just five weeks, it has gone on to sell more than 1 million copies in the UK and was yesterday nominated for the 'Best British Single' award at next month’s BRIT Awards.

Having honed his craft from a young age, instantly memorable renditions of ‘The Power of Love’, ‘Let’s Get It On’ and Adele’s ‘Hometown Glory’ have cemented his status as a hugely promising and supremely talented musician.
