Supporting the forthcoming release of their fourteenth studio album 'Super Collider', Grammy-nominated Thrash icons Megadeth have announced a handful of live dates for a UK visit in June.
Megadeth has once again tapped Johnny K, who, in the past, has worked alongside Disturbed, Sevendust, Machine Head and Staind, to produce 'Super Collider', due in for release in June. Johnny K worked with Megadeth on their previous album, 2011's 'TH1RT3EN', which was recorded at Mustaine's Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California.
In August last year, frontman Dave Mustaine tweeted"Johnny is almost at Vic’s and we are going to start pre-production today! Woo Hoo!!". In addition to the many Twitter updates by Dave, photographs of the band rehearsing at Vic's Garage have been posted at the Megadeth Cyber Army website and on Megadeth's official Facebook page.
Earlier this year, Dave Mustaine confirmed in an interview that Megadeth had parted ways with Roadrunner Records for another label. The new album will be released on Dave's own label Tradecraft.
