Action Bronson Announces Biggest Show To Date At London's KOKO

Action Bronson will return to the UK this summer to play his biggest UK show to date at North London’s KOKO. The New York former chef, turned rapper came to the Capital in December and served up a whole lotta hip hop in an intimate, sold out show at The Garage, but this was a mere appetizer, as he gears up to deliver a main course that fans have been waiting for on Friday 7th June.
New York’s hip-hop scene has come alive in the last 12 months with an injection of extraordinary new talent, and the buzz that Action Bronson has contributed has been well felt.
Signing to Vice in August last year, he was in good company on the label who also recently completed a deal with Snoop Lion. His latest release, ‘Rare Chandeliers’ is produced by The Alchemist and his upcoming album due out in the spring is already highly anticipated.
Born and raised in Queens, Action, real name Arian Asllani, was fed on a diet of hip hop from an early age, citing the discovery of Wu-Tang’s Clan album ‘36 Chambers’ aged ten and Kool G Rap as massive influences on his lyrical style. His enthusiasm for food led Action to attend the Art Institute of New York City’s culinary program and go on to become a well-respected gourmet chef in the City, until he broke his leg in January 2011 and turned to his other love; rapping.
