English singer-songwriter David Ford has confirmed that his latest studio album ‘Charge’ will hit shelves on March 18th.
The album - his fourth - sees Ford taking a more muscular approach than we’ve previously seen, and the influence of the many months he has spent travelling across the USA can be heard in both the lyrical content of the songs and in the influence that listening to a radio diet of Memphis soul, New Orleans jazz and New Jersey rock ‘n’ roll has had upon the music.
‘Charge' is the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Let the Hard Times Roll’, and will be accompanied by extensive tours of the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA during the months of March to June 2013. He’ll be stopping in London, Birmingham, Belfast, York, Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh, and more - check the dates and links below to see if he’ll be coming to a venue near you this spring.
